The challenge?

To ensure that health and safety regulations are met by servicing and inspecting equipment at designated intervals.

Example

Forklift trucks and cranes are required by law to be serviced regularly. Other items of equipment must undergo a thorough inspection on a six-monthly basis and be declared safe to use.

The Ritchey ID solution?

Ritchey ID has supplied a range of colour-coded tie tags and large flag tags to communicate relevant information. During the month of March, for example, equipment that has been tested and declared safe is identified with a blue tag that carries printed information for the user.

Ritchey ID has also produced a custom-made tie tag in a spearmint colour which matches the company’s corporate identity.

User comments

Steve Pain is very pleased with the Ritchey ID tagging system that was designed specifically to meet the needs of the National Grid. He says he had a lot of support from Ritchey ID’s Ashley Musgrave, and believes that the company has helped NG to comply with current health and safety regulations.
