The chain has been identified using a plain tag, carrying a written message indicating the item’s unique number code.

When it comes to checking equipment, your employee will need to read the number on the chain, and jot it down using pen and paper. Your employee will then copy the information – for example the date when chain was last inspected and the level of its maximum weight-bearing load – into a personal computer.
